01

Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing the OHommer website, submitting an enquiry, creating a booking, making a payment or otherwise using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, our Cancellation Policy and any service-specific conditions shown during booking.

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. If you use OHommer for another person, household or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to act for them.

02

About OHommer

OHommer provides a digital platform and support system through which customers can discover, request, schedule and pay for home and related services. Depending on the service, work may be delivered by OHommer personnel, independent service professionals or third-party service businesses.

The professional’s status, service scope and applicable commercial terms may vary by category and location. Nothing in these Terms creates employment, partnership or agency between a customer and a service professional.

03

Service Availability and Scope

Services are subject to location, schedule, professional availability, equipment type, site conditions and the selected service description. Images and descriptions are provided for general understanding; the exact work included is determined by the booking details, inspection, quotation and customer-approved scope.

  • A listed service may not cover spare parts, materials, major repairs or additional labour unless expressly stated.
  • A professional may decline unsafe, unlawful, technically unsuitable or materially different work.
  • Estimated times are indicative and may change because of traffic, prior jobs, access, diagnostics or parts availability.
  • OHommer may add, modify, suspend or discontinue a service or service area.
04

Bookings and Confirmation

A booking request is not final until it is accepted or confirmed through the website, phone, message or another authorised channel. You are responsible for checking the service, address, contact details, price, date and time before confirmation.

We may contact you to verify information, clarify the job or change professional assignment. A booking may be refused or cancelled if information is incomplete, the service is unavailable, the work is unsafe or unlawful, pricing is obviously incorrect, or misuse is suspected.

05

Inspection, Estimates and Additional Work

Some problems cannot be accurately diagnosed before an on-site inspection. A displayed amount may therefore represent a booking fee, inspection charge, starting price or defined standard service rather than the final cost of every repair.

If additional labour, parts or materials are required, the professional should explain the revised scope and price. You should approve additional chargeable work before it begins. If you decline, applicable visit, inspection, diagnostic or completed-work charges may still be payable.

06

Prices, Payments and Taxes

Online payments

Payments may be processed by authorised third-party gateways under their terms.

Invoices or payment records may be provided digitally using available booking details.

Report duplicate, failed or unauthorised transactions promptly through official support.

You must pay all charges approved or incurred under your booking. Do not send money to an unknown account or disclose OTPs, UPI PINs, passwords, CVV values or other confidential banking credentials.

07

Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refunds

Cancellation, rescheduling, no-show charges and refunds are governed by the Cancellation Policy and any service-specific condition displayed during booking. Charges may apply after professional assignment, dispatch, arrival, inspection or commencement of work.

Eligible refunds are calculated after deducting valid charges for visits, completed work, purchased or used materials and any disclosed non-refundable fee.

08

Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate identity, contact, location, appliance and service information.
  • Ensure an authorised adult is present and the professional can safely access the work area.
  • Disclose relevant hazards, electrical issues, structural concerns, pets, access restrictions or previous repairs.
  • Remove valuable, fragile or obstructing items before work begins.
  • Follow safety, care and usage instructions provided after service.
  • Inspect completed work where practical and report concerns promptly.
  • Treat professionals and support personnel respectfully and lawfully.
09

Service Professional Responsibilities

Service professionals are expected to behave professionally, carry out agreed work with reasonable skill and care, explain material changes to scope or price, and respect the customer’s property. Customers should not ask professionals to perform unsafe, unlawful or unrelated work.

Any concern about identity, conduct, price or service quality should be reported promptly with the booking ID and supporting information.

10

Parts, Materials and Customer-Supplied Items

Spare parts and materials may be original, compatible, refurbished or locally sourced depending on availability and customer approval. Applicable manufacturer or seller terms may govern product warranties.

If you supply a part, appliance, fixture, material or instruction, responsibility for its suitability and quality remains with you unless otherwise agreed. We are not responsible for failure caused by defective, incompatible or incorrectly specified customer-supplied items.

11

Service Warranty and Complaints

Where a service warranty or revisit commitment is offered, its duration, coverage and exclusions will be shown in the service description, invoice, work order or booking communication. Warranty coverage may require the original booking ID and proof of payment.

Warranty may not cover new faults, misuse, external damage, normal wear, power fluctuations, pest damage, customer modifications, third-party work, excluded parts or failure to follow care instructions. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12

Reviews and User Content

If you submit a review, photo, comment or other content, it must be truthful, relevant, lawful and must not violate another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights. You grant OHommer a non-exclusive, worldwide and royalty-free permission to host, reproduce, format and display that content for operating and promoting the services.

We may moderate or remove content that is misleading, abusive, unlawful, irrelevant, promotional, fraudulent or otherwise inconsistent with these Terms.

13

Prohibited Use

You must not misuse the website, submit false bookings, impersonate another person, interfere with security, scrape data without permission, introduce malicious code, harass users or professionals, avoid legitimate platform charges, conduct fraud, or use the services for unlawful purposes.

We may restrict or suspend access, cancel bookings, preserve records or report conduct to appropriate authorities where reasonably necessary to protect users, professionals, OHommer or lawful interests.

14

Intellectual Property

The OHommer name, branding, website design, text, graphics, software, service descriptions and other platform materials are owned by or licensed to OHommer and are protected by applicable rights. You may use the website only for personal or authorised business booking purposes. No ownership right is transferred to you.

15

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

We work to keep information accurate and services reliable, but website access, professional availability, arrival times, diagnosis, parts and outcomes may be affected by circumstances outside reasonable control. The website and services are provided subject to availability and applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OHommer will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of data or loss arising from customer instructions, undisclosed conditions, third-party products, customer-supplied parts or unauthorised dealings outside the platform.

Important: Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or customer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims or reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the website, material breach of these Terms, false information, infringement of third-party rights or unsafe instructions, except to the extent caused by OHommer’s own breach or wrongdoing.

18

Changes, Severability and Entire Agreement

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in services, technology, operations or applicable requirements. Updated Terms take effect when published unless another date is stated. Continued use after an update indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
